Chris Incudine
Tell us more about your background – how did you get started in the transportation industry?
I was attending West Chester University and had several friends who were working at A. Duie Pyle after school for extra money. I would come directly after class to work, leave around 9:00 pm to finish any work for school the next day. I kept a five-day-a-week schedule throughout my time in college until graduating and becoming a supervisor on the same shift I started on.
What about Pyle made you want to work for this company?
The camaraderie with my peers, as well as the leadership that I interacted with. There was always a genuine sense of teamwork and care for the people, and that really made a positive impression on me. Our ownership’s genuine care for the employees, and the example that they set as it relates to hard work and following our core values, is extremely meaningful.
Describe your role at Pyle.
I lead the development of integrated, enterprise-level supply chain solutions spanning LTL, Dedicated, Brokerage, and Warehousing. I am responsible for aligning cross-functional capabilities, overseeing solution engineering, and translating complex customer needs into scalable, multi-service offerings that drive revenue growth and long-term customer value.
Solutions Design brings a more integrated approach to how Pyle supports customers. What opportunities do you see in taking a more holistic view of a customer’s supply chain?
Ultimately, Solutions Design is focused on understanding everything possible as it relates to the customer’s specific needs, current obstacles, and their goals, then designing a solution that is tailored to them. This will involve analyzing their raw data in parallel with our capabilities both inside and outside our existing network to provide them one or multiple solutions to be reviewed.
This role sits at the intersection of multiple business units. How do you approach aligning teams and resources to deliver a cohesive solution for customers?
Ultimately, Pyle People truly value the company culture and work to overcome obstacles to deliver what customers need. To ensure alignment, communication must remain thorough, clear, and consistent across all involved parties. Success at Pyle is driven by teamwork, and when that remains the focus, alignment typically occurs naturally because everyone is working toward the same shared goal.
